Camp Schodack’s Berkshire Retreat Center is a privately owned summer camp venue that has been in operation since 1957 and has been under the same family ownership for 4 generations. With 40 acres of beautiful green lawns and 60 acres of private woodlands and trails surrounding the property you have the perfect, secluded get away. Enjoy the property exclusively for the entire weekend and make use of our beautifully renovated cabins to accommodate your guests.

We have a number of indoor and outdoor areas that are perfect for ceremonies and receptions that couples have taken advantage of in the past. Alongside these spaces we have our cabins and all of the activities you would associate with a summer camp at your disposal, including heated pools, basketball courts, a climbing tower, go-karts, tennis courts  and much, much more.

We offer a complete DIY package where couples are welcome to bring in all of their own food and drink suppliers or alternatively,  take up one of our catering packages to let us do it for them with buffets, BBQs or even food carts to make it that little bit more unique.

summer camp accommodation in the capital region

With a maximum 500 person capacity, we allow couples and their guests to take control of our entire 100 site for the entire weekend. We have a number of larger, open cabins for groups and families as well as a selection of smaller, more intimate accommodations for couples who need a little privacy. All of our cabins have ensuite bathroom and shower facilities
